Emanuel “Mandu Warrior” Johnson CEO/Founder

Emanuel “Mandu Warrior” Johnson is a self-reformed ex-gang leader who spent over 30 years in prison, half of that time in solitary confinement. While isolated from the world he once knew, he began writing deeply personal and gripping stories about the community he missed and longed to return to. Drawing from his own trauma and life experiences, Mandu’s writing explores the brutal realities of poverty, street life, and the psychological PTSD that grips urban communities. His stories are more than reflections; they’re acts of healing.

Through writing, Mandu aims to fix what he once helped break, offering real-life solutions to the very issues that tore his neighborhood apart. He developed a plan in confinement, grounded in daily discipline and self-transformation, to one day return and change the narrative of his culture. Now a respected community leader, CEO and Founder of Tehuti Vision Productions LLC, and an active force throughout Brooklyn, Mandu provides reentry and reform services while using media, storytelling, and cultural work to uplift and empower. His mission-driven leadership has earned him a Congressional Award from Congressman Hakeem Jeffries and recognition from Councilman Chris Banks for his unwavering commitment to rebuilding the community he once helped damage. Through his voice, his work, and his company, Mandu embodies the powerful truth: “No stories about us, without us.”

Kenya Mata, MPA Co-Owner

Kenya Mata, MPA, is the co-owner of Tehuti Vision and a dedicated leader with over 20 years of experience in social services, specializing in domestic violence, homelessness, substance abuse, and mental health.

As a long-standing change agent in East New York, Brooklyn, Kenya has been a fierce advocate for equity, empowerment, and community-driven solutions. She is a firm believer in the principle. "No Stories About Us Without Us", ensuring that the voices of marginalized communities are at the forefront of decision-making, storytelling, and healing. Kenya also believes that everyone has a God-given talent, and she promotes the arts, especially acting, as a tool for personal development and transformation. Kenya has been honored with the Minority-Owned Business Recognition Award from Congressman Hakeem Jeffries and Councilman Chris Banks, as well as the Vendor Award from East New York Farms.
